Who is ready for a giveaway?!?!? If you’re anything like me, you have just accepted that living a gluten-free life means there are some things that will never be the same. A good glass of wine with some high quality crackers and rich and tangy aged cheese is definitely on my list. So when I was strolling around the expo at PaleoFX this year, I was blown away to sample some of the best gluten-free crackers (and frankly some of the best crackers of ANY kind) I’ve ever had. Enter Jilz Gluten-Free Crackerz!
I had such a wonderful time meeting Jill and hearing her story. She is an amazing cook who was looking for a gluten-free snack option without a bunch of additives for her husband, who is gluten intolerant. She spent a YEAR perfecting these delicious crackers, and the care she put into them definitely shows. That’s some serious love and dedication people. And now she’s sharing that hard work with the rest of us! Oh, and if you don’t believe MY review, they were also rated as the favorite gluten-free cracker by the LA Times, no foolies!

I love that they have just a few high quality ingredients and no crappy fillers. The ingredient list is: almond flour, organic sesame seeds, organic chia seeds, organic flax seeds, organic tapioca starch, organic apple cider vinegar, purified water and seasonings.
They have 3 flavors that are going to make it VERY tough for you to pick a favorite. Cracked pepper and sea salt (great if you’re making an appetizer with a lot of light summer flavors you want to shine through), Tuscan (Italian herbs, lemon and tomato flecks) and my personal favorite, Mediterranean (which adds a blend of herbs, garlic, LAVENDER, and sea salt). If you were ever addicted to rosemary Triscuits like I once was, you are in for a treat!

I took 3 boxes along with me to a friend’s birthday beach weekend and there’s not so much as a crumb left after we got done with them! They were a tasty snack just by themselves, they were equally amazing both with aged Gouda and fresh goat cheese, and we even started using them as guacamole scoops.
I also have a few ideas for some new recipes I can’t WAIT to try out using Jilz Crackerz as an ingredient (I’m thinking about adding some to paleo meatballs to start) and I’m definitely going to be serving them with my summertime beet and leek soup. I just have to wait for my next shipment to arrive because like I said, not even a crumb escaped the weekend!
